HOW TO REGISTER A NEW HONG KONG COMPANY ON DIY!HKCOM?
- Step 1: Prepare the requirements for the online registration of a new Hong Kong company. This includes a company name, shareholders, director, company secretary, registered office address (in HK), and paid-up capital.
- Step 2: Take a look at all the Hong Kong company Setup Cost, and the plans that are available. When you start the HK company setup, you're going to do it all online through our website.
- Step 3: After you have an idea of all the options (i.e. plans) that are available to you, proceed to the Hong Kong Company Setup page.
- Step 4: A local Hong Kong registered office address is compulsory for anyone registering a company. If you are going to use your own registered office address, select "No Registered Office Address". If you need DIY!HKcom to provide a registered office address, select from one of the 4 plans.
- Step 5: Select any of the optional items that you may need, including significant controller assistance, nominee shareholder service, green box, a set of company stamps, bank account opening service, and express service.
- Step 6: Enter the new company details including 3 choices of English name, and principal business. Providing 3 choices of Chinese name is optional. Provide the registered address, and specify the principal business.
- Step 7: Enter the shareholder information including the shareholder nature (i.e. a natural person or an entity), English name, Chinese name (optional), percentage of share capital of the company, country of passport, passport number (or HKID card number), residential or registered office address. Upload the scanned copy of the shareholder's passport (or HKID card), and the proof of residential addresses. The passport document must still be valid for at least 3 months before the expiry date. The proof of residential address may be one of the following such as electricity bill, gas bill, government post, or bank statement. Add a second shareholder's information, if necessary. Note: Without any residency requirement, a minimum of one shareholder could be a person of any nationality or a company. A shareholder could be a director.
- Step 8: Enter the director information including the director nature (i.e. a natural person or an entity), English name, Chinese name (optional), percentage of share of capital of the company, country of passport, passport number (or HKID card number), residential or registered office address. Upload the scanned copy of the shareholder's passport (or HKID card), and the proof of residential addresses. The passport document must still be valid for at least 3 months before the expiry date. The proof of residential address may be one of the following such as electricity bill, gas bill, government post, or bank statement. Add a second director's information, if necessary.
- Step 9: Confirm all the information you have provided is correct. Click the "Add to Cart" button to proceed to the next page (i.e. Billing information page).
- Step 10: Fill in your billing information. You may make your payment with one of the credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, etc), or PayPal. The cost of company registration includes all your selected items, and the government fees (i.e. Business Registration and Companies Registry). The currency is presented in US dollar.
